Students start by taking a free customized assessment which pinpoints their needs or missing foundation, allowing us to understand where they are and take them where they need to go.
Turn quarantine into a math learning opportunity!
STUCK AT HOME PROMO: At the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, Math Project is offering a three-week ONLINE Bootcamp to combat any learning gaps, regardless of a child’s age or grade. In our hopes of empowering the minds of tomorrow, Math Project waives the registration fee for all students enrolled in our online Bootcamp.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the 3-week math boot camp work?
The Math Project team will assess the children for their current math level and any missing math foundation. The assessment will take place in a thirty-minute ONLINE meeting with one of the Math Project team members. The results of the assessment will be discussed with the parent in detail, after the assessment. Math Project will then identify any learning gaps and customize a 3-week study plan for the child. Should you wish to register your child in the boot camp at that point, Math Project will arrange live, interactive online sessions with the teacher and provide access to the study material as soon as the registration process is completed.
How much will the 3-week math boot camp cost?
The 3-week math boot camp will cost $150 per child. This includes 9 one-hour long, interactive, online group lessons, grading, and delivery of detailed performance reports to parents. There is no registration fee until April 5, 2020, and the assessment is free of cost.
When will the online classes be held?
There are 9 interactive classes held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week at a pre-scheduled time. Each lesson will be 1 hour long. The students will be able to interact with their teacher and see the whiteboard simultaneously on their screen.
How do I ensure my child benefits from the program effectively?
The program is a partnership between parents and Math Project. We promise to deliver high-quality education provided parents ensure that the homework assigned to the child after each session will be completed in a timely manner according to ‘Math Project’s Homework Rules’. The homework will be submitted by the student through our cutting-edge online grading platform for our teachers to grade.
When is payment due?
The $150 fee is payable after the assessment, at the time of enrollment, via e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. The fee must be paid in advance of the study sessions and is non-refundable.
Math Project has waived the $50 registration fee in response to COVID-19. As a social enterprise committed to instilling the love of math in a child, Math Project has also subsidized the program at this time when most children have no other opportunity to learn in traditional classrooms and have become nonconsumers of education.
Math Project is an accelerated math program that has transformed the way children view math, whether they start out far behind or already ahead. The single most important ingredient for the program’s success has been our strong focus on boosting a child’s motivation for Math, using our own teaching materials and neo-classical study techniques.
Our underlying philosophy is that ‘with understanding of math comes confidence,
and with confidence comes success – an enriched life’.
